The newly formed Security Guarding Leadership Group (S12) held its inaugural meeting with Security Minister Dan Jarvis MBE, the Home Office, and the SIA at the International Security Expo, Olympia London. During the session, Chair Paul Evans and Deputy Chair Peter Harrison formally introduced the group and its members, outlining the S12’s overarching purpose and mission.
The meeting provided an opportunity to present the group’s structure, key objectives and workstreams, as well as to share the stakeholder map, communications approach, and planned commitments. It concluded with an interactive discussion, allowing the Minister to ask questions and engage directly with the S12 team, setting the foundation for ongoing collaboration and engagement with government and regulatory bodies.
